Members of the International Crimes Investigation Unit summoned MK Said Nafa (Balad) to an investigation on Thursday.  Nafa is under investigation for visiting Syria without receiving permission from the Interior Ministry.  The Knesset’s Ethics Committee reprimanded Nafa for his behavior.

Nafa said Thursday that he was not surprised by the decision to investigate his visit.  “This was expected.  I am surprised that they did not invite other Members of Knesset who visited Syria and Lebanon before me to an investigation.”
