Czech neo-Nazis plan to ignore a court-approved ban on a march through the Jewish neighborhood on the anniversary of Kristallnacht on Saturday, claiming the protest is a matter of freedom of expression. The city of Prague disallowed the march out of fears that it would spark violence, and Jews in the city have warned they will stage a counter-march at the same time.
Kristallnacht occurred in 1938, when Nazis attacked Jewish homes and businesses and burned down synagogues. The neo-Nazi group Young Nationalist Democrats said that the march's purpose is to protest the Czech presence in Iraq.
