Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and French President Nicolas Sarkozy have wrapped up their meeting, which government sources said was "exceptionally warm." The French president vowed to increase pressure against Iran's development of nuclear power. Sarkozy said before the Prime Minister's arrival that he supports creating a new Arab state, which has been proposed to replace a large part of Israel.
Prime Minister Olmert now is on his way to meet with Prime Minister Francois Fillon and with French Jewish leaders. He plans to meet with his British and Turkish counterparts in London on Tuesday before returning to Israel.
