Olmert Heading for Paris, London

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert travels to Paris and London on Sunday in ongoing efforts to rally international leaders against Iran’s growing nuclear development program.

Olmert will meet with French President Nicolas Sarkozy and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, asking them to help block Iran’s progress in what Israel and the U.S. insist is a program to build a nuclear weapon. He is also expected to brief them on issues connected with the U.S.-sponsored Mideast summit to be held in Annapolis, Maryland sometime in the next two months.

The talks are the first held by Olmert with Sarkozy and Brown since the two leaders took office in their respective countries this summer.
