Break in Nuke Talks Between IAEA, Iran

Two days of talks have ended between the United Nations International Atomic Energy Agency and Iranian officials, reportedly slated to resume in mid-October.

The official Iranian ISNA news agency released a statement Tuesday that said “Talks between the two IAEA technical experts and an Iranian delegation over the centrifuges ended on Tuesday.”

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has for months boasted the Islamic Republic is running 3,000 centrifuges used to enrich uranium, a pivotal step in the nuclear energy development process.
