Ahmadinejad Called a ‘Petty Dictator’

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spoke at New York City’s Columbia University on Monday evening.  University President Lee Bollinger slammed Ahmadinejad in his introductory speech, saying the Iranian president exhibits “all the signs of a petty and cruel dictator.”  Ahmadinejad’s Holocaust denial “makes you simply ridiculous,” Bollinger told him.

Ahmadinejad criticized Bollinger for “unfriendly treatment” before beginning to speak.  He denied questioning the historical veracity of the Holocaust, but later said “there is nothing known as absolute.”
