IDF soldiers returned fire and killed a Palestinian Authority gunman who shot at them during a riot Sunday morning in the PA-controlled Judean city of Hevron. PA sources said the riot was caused by a dispute between two Arab families. The soldiers apparently entered the neighborhood to break up the fight. The dead man was identified as Baha al-Azuni.
Reports varied as to how many others, if any were wounded in the clash. No IDF soldiers were wounded in the incident.
