Chief WTC Engineer Made Aliyah, Teaching in Samaria Reported: 17:33 PM - Sep/11/07
(IsraelNN.com) The chief engineer who designed the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center made Aliyah (moved to Israel) in 2003, according to a report by the Jerusalem Post.
Chaim Brown has now established a company in Israel to build pre-fab solar-powered homes in the Negev Desert. Brown said he decided to make Aliyah about a week after the September 11, 2001 attacks that brought down the towers. “It dawned on me that these are the same terrorists who have been attacking Israel since 1947, and I felt I had to do something about it,” he said. "Yigal Cohen-Orgad, the chairman of the executive committee of the College of Judea and Samaria in Ariel, asked me if I would consider accepting a teaching position. (I had lectured before at the Technion and Ben-Gurion University.) My accepting the offer to teach in Judea and Samaria was my statement to the terrorists." ![]() Check out the Chill Zone - Funny, Entertaining Videos © IsraelNN Syndications - This article may not be republished freely.
