American President George W. Bush told American veterans Tuesday that the Middle East faces a "nuclear Holocaust" if Iran reaches nuclear capability. He vowed the United States would prevent Iran from doing so. Bush said he is asking allies to isolate Iran through economic sanctions and did not mention the possibility of a military strike.
"We will confront this danger before it is too late," he stated. The U.S. President labeled Iran as "the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism," citing its backing of Hamas, Hizbullah and the Islamic Jihad.
