National Union Examines Arab Takeover of Upper Nazareth

MKs from the National Union party, along with activists from the movements youth group, will tour Upper Nazareth Tuesday in response to complaints from Jewish residents that Galilee Arabs are attempting to take over the city.

Jewish residents complain of a declining security situation that is causing more and more residents to leave, selling their homes to Arabs. They say violent crime and drugs are also becoming rampant in the town.

National Union has begun to focus in recent months on mixed Jewish-Arab cities such as Haifa, Acco, Karmiel, Yaffo and Lod. Last week, the group toured Haifa’s Hadar neighborhood.
