100 Indian Jews Arrive in Israel, More Tomorrow

100 Indian Jews arrived in Israel on Thursday as new olim (immigrants).  The olim are members of the “Bnei Menashe” community, and say they are descended from the lost tribe of Menashe.

The new immigrants have begun residence in Pardes Hana.  Another 100 Indian Jews are expected to make aliyah (immigrate) on Friday.
