Hareidi-Religious Co. Building Luxury Tower in Panama

Africa Israel, the construction company owned by hareidi-religious diamond baron, Lev Leviev, is expanding into Central America. The company, which made a name for itself building in Russia and the US, has bought a plot of land in Panama City for $10 million dollars. There it intends to build a 73-floor luxury tower, measuring over 100,000 square meters. The tower will hold some 355 apartments. Total cost of the project is estimated at $86 million.


The 51-year-old Leviev is worth some $4.1 billion, which makes him only the 210th-wealthiest man in the world, according to Forbes magazine.
