Kosher German Beer May Be Front for Missionaries

The recent kosher certification of a Germany beer may be a front for missionary activity, according to Jewish blogger Chajm Gurski. The widely publicized Simcha beer went kosher after a move initiated by the owner of a non-kosher restaurant. Gurski noted that Simcha beer's web site is linked to a Jews for Jesus site.

The Simcha site is run by a member of the Association of Saxonian Friends of Israel, who also is the owner of an online Christian bookstore. The Simcha site offers buyers a free keychain with the word "Jesus" on it.
