The new free newspaper 'Israel Today (Yisrael HaYom) was launched Monday, distributed in bus stations, train stations and even hospitals.

Haaretz and other paid-dailies have already launched scathing attacks on the paper, claiming its owner, Sheldon Adelson, intends to use to paper to assist his associate, Opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu (Likud) in bringing down the Olmert regime.
