Report: Saudi Arabia Drops 'Land-for-Recognition' Plan

(IsraelNN.com) Saudi Arabia has quietly dropped its support for its own 2002 initiative calling for the 22-state Arab League to recognize Israel in return for total surrender of all the land restored to the Jewish state after the Six-Day War in 1967, according to the Hebrew daily Yediot Aharonot.
The report quoted an unnamed Israeli source that the Saudis are afraid of terrorist attacks by Iran and Al Qaeda because of the plan.
