MK Tzvi Hendel  (NU/NRP) attacked President Shimon Peres for saying Israel needs to "get rid" of Judea and Samaria.

"Even before entering office, Peres is doing everything possible to tear the nation to bits and playing into the hands of his friends in the PLO," Hendel said Sunday evening. "As the bombs continue to burst, he announces that the murderers must be given an additional prize in the form of the communities in Judea and Samaria."

"I feel sorry for him," Hendel added. "Peres had better not think that the presidency gives him immunity."
