Police, IDF Preparing for Clash with Homesh Hopefuls
(IsraelNN.com) Police and the IDF are pulling out all stops in an effort to prevent nationalists from approaching the site of the destroyed community of Homesh Tuesday, when thousands plan to try to start rebuilding the town. Authorities previously backed down from threats in earlier marches to the site and even authorized the last rally, but this time they have warned that attempts to build there will be considered criminal violations.
Police and army officers have ordered roadblocks to prevent anyone from approaching the area, but organizers have maintained that political manipulations are behind the attempts to stop them.
