Arab terrorists continued to bombard the western Negev with Kassam rockets and mortar shells Monday evening. No injuries or damage were reported in the attacks. Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for the offensive.

The first barrage began shortly after 3 p.m. (8 a.m. EDT) with one rocket and three shells, and four other barrages followed into the early evening. Mortar shells fell near Kerem Shalom, Nahal Oz and the separation barrier where IDF engineer units are operating.
