The Histadrut Labor Federation has decided to cut its ties with the British Transport and General Workers Union, which recently voted to boycott Israel.  Histadrut officials said Monday that Chairman Ofer Eini plans to do the same with all groups that support boycotts of Israel.

Several major British unions have voted to boycott Israel recently.  British Embassy officials have announced their objections to the boycotts, which they say are unproductive.  Israeli reaction has so far been limited, although Kadima MK Otniel Schneller has proposed labeling imports from countries with anti-Israel boycotts, allowing Israelis to boycott their products in return.
