The London police is investigating the death of billionaire Dr. Ashraf Marwan, who was found dead after falling from the balcony of his home Wednesday. While initial reports pointed to an apparent suicide, latest news says the Scotland Yard is looking into the possibility he was murdered.

Marwan was a son-in-law of Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser and a confidante of President Anwar Sadat. He volunteered his services to the Mossad in 1969 and was subsequently hired as an agent. He provided valuable information for years, including the date on which the Yom Kippur War would break out – a bit of information that unfortunately was ignored by the Mossad.

Marwan was in the news two weeks ago when the arbitrator between former Chief of Military Intelligence Eli Zeira and former Mossad chief Tzvi Zamir ruled that Zeira was the man who exposed Marwan's identity to journalists and writers.
