Dozens of Romanian citizens in Gaza have issued a request to authorities in Bucharest, asking to be assisted in returning to Romania. Most of those attempting to leave are women married to Arab men and their children.

Romanian officials in Tel Aviv explained that they are working with Israel to coordinate the transport of the group from Gaza to Tel Aviv and then on to Bucharest. Earlier in the day 100 foreign citizens were taken out of Gaza, as were another 100 civilians the night before.
