Sandhedrin Rabbis: Protest with Mesirut Nefesh
(IsraelNN.com) The Sanhedrin Rabbis issued a call to the public to "rise up in prayer and protest in order to preserve the nation's dignity, and to demonstrate in an organized group with mesirut nefesh – a willingness to die for one's cause if need be.
The rabbis were referring to protesting the planned march by homosexuals in Jerusalem Thursday.
The rabbis determined that the nation was "sinking into the defilements of the land of Canaan," which are presented as an achievement, when in fact they represent a pagan Cannanite tradition.
