The IDF has evacuated four Gaza Arabs, including a 40-year-old woman in critical condition, to Israeli hospitals in Tel Aviv and Ashkelon. Among the four was a child suffering from leukemia,

The Physicians for Human Rights group claimed that at least 15 people need urgent medical care, but the government has made it clear it will not allow blanket approval for Gaza Arabs to leave the region. The government has not commented on a statement by senior Palestinian Authority (PA) leader Saeb Erekat that Israel agreed to transfer 55 people.

In a separate evacuation, about 140 Russian, mostly wives of Gaza Arabs, have been taken out of the area and are on their way to Jordan, where Russia will provide planes for them to return home.
