Warm Today, Scorching Hot Later

(IsraelNN.com) Temperatures will near or top record highs early next week as a scorching heat wave makes it way toward Israel. Temperatures from Tuesday through Friday will rise steadily from 29 to 32 degrees (mid to upper 80s Fahrenheit) in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv while remaining around 32 Celsius in Be'er Sheva.

The thermometer will start to climb significantly on the Sabbath and by next Monday will reach 39 degrees (102 Fahrenheit) in Jerusalem, 33 (91 Fahrenheit) in Tel Aviv and 43 (109 Fahrenheit) in Be'er Sheva.

At Ein Gedi and Eilat, temperatures next week are forecast for 48-50 degrees(118-122 Fahrenheit).
