IDF officials said Sunday that attempted infiltrations from Gaza will probably increase over the coming weeks and months. As long as Hamas does not manage to control the violence in the area, they said, the number of Arabs attempting to escape by any means possible will only increase.



Several Arabs attempted to infiltrate from Gaza on Sunday in four separate incidents. At least five managed to break through to the western Negev. All were unarmed, and were arrested and taken to security services.
