Thousands of hareidi-religious Jews are demonstrating in Jerusalem's Bar-Ilan street, in protest of the Gay Pride march planned for Thursday in the holy city.



Over 1,000 police officers are on the scene.



Police sources hinted that a sufficiently strong demonstration could convince them to call off Thursday's parade, for fear of a disturbance to public peace.
