Russian police have arrested two skinheads suspected of beating a rabbi in Inanovo, a city in the center of the country. "The victims were wearing traditional Jewish clothes .This was probably a pretext for the aggressors,” a local prosecutor told the Interfax news agency.

Police said witnesses saw the skinheads, age 21, shout anti-Semitic slogans and then threaten and beat the rabbi, who is recovering from his injuries.
