(IsraelNN.com) The hareidi-religious Eida Hareidit organization called on Jerusalem’s religious population to take to the streets on Wednesday night in protest of the Gay Parade scheduled to take place next week. Jerusalem police gave official approval to the parade on Wednesday afternoon, and say that it will take place in the city center.

Members of the Eida Hareidit drove through hareidi-religious neighborhoods with loudspeakers calling for protests. The Eida Hareidit activists accused the police of deceiving them, and of delaying the official authorization of the parade in order to buy time.
