Fighting Continues in Nahr Al-Bard
Fatah Al-Islam terrorists continued fighting the Lebanese army in the northern town of Nahr Al-Bard on Wednesday. At least 61 Lebanese soldiers have been killed in the fighting. While the town has been closed to reporters, officials estimate that at least 60 terrorists and 20 civilians have been killed as well.
More than 24,000 of the town’s 31,000 residents have fled. Human Rights Watch criticized the Lebanese Army on Wednesday for allegedly detaining and beating young men as they fled the violence.
