Four activists were arrested Monday at the former Jewish town of Homesh, in northern Samaria. The four were reportedly painting the water-tower – the last remaining structure on the now-barren hilltop – orange.

Orange is the color adopted by anti-expulsion activists for their struggle. The water tower has become a symbol of Homesh and been daubed with slogans by Jews returning to the site.

Army Radio reports that organizers have purchased shovels, picks and hoes – calling upon the public to bring building materials with them to begin to prepare the ground for rebuilding during Tuesday’s visit.
