(IsraelNN.com) Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said at after the conclusion of a Security Cabinet meeting early Wednesday afternoon, "Israel does not want war with Syria, [but] we must avoid miscalculations that are liable to lead to a security deterioration."
The Security Cabinet ministers discussed the situation along the northern border. Prime Minister said the government is trying to convince Syria through various diplomatic channels that no war is planned. No other details of the meeting were released.
