The IAF attacked two sites in northern Gaza on Thursday morning. The sites were used frequently by terrorists for the launch of Kassam rockets at nearby Israeli towns. No injuries were reported in the operation.

Minister for Strategic Affairs Avigdor Lieberman has called on the government to treat Gaza as an independent hostile entity, and to begin bombing rich Gaza neighborhoods in response to rocket attacks. Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu has issued a similar call, asking Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to order the bombing of all rocket launch sites regardless of the danger to Gaza civilians.
