Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni called the current situation in the south of the country "intolerable" before a gathering of foreign diplomats in Tel Aviv on Friday.
"The citizens of Israel in the south of the country are now under attack," Livni declared. "In recent days, more than 60 rockets have been fired with the intention of hitting civilians, children and families. Children are are not going to school, families can't leave their homes. The situation is intolerable."
Foreign Minister Livni did not say specifically what her government intends to do to end the Palestinian Authority rocket attacks.
