An Arab woman was caught on Sunday as she attempted to smuggle drugs between Egypt and the Palestinian Authority-controlled Gaza region. Approximately three kilograms of heroin were reportedly found in the woman’s possession at the Rafiah crossing. PA police reported that they found additional drugs on her person after she was taken to a local jail.

The woman’s arrest was reportedly the largest drug seizure ever made at the crossing. Additional drug arrests were reported on Sunday in Gaza City.
