An IDF company commander has been suspended due to claims by residents of a Palestinian Authority-controlled village that his soldiers threatened to destroy their mosque if they continue to attack Jewish motorists.

The complaint was gathered and submitted to the IDF by the Rabbis for Human Rights leftist group. The complaint says IDF troops broke windows in the mosque in southern Hevron Hills village of Zif last week and told residents it would be bulldozed if the regular stoning of Israeli vehicles did not cease.

The IDF suspended the company commander immediately and launched a probe.
