Catholic officials in Germany have apologized for making comments that Israel has created a "Warsaw Ghetto" in Ramallah and is acting like the Nazis.



The comments were made after bishops visited the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial and then toured Ramallah. Officials said they understand the angry Israeli reaction to the comparison.
