Lebanese Army Allowing Hizbullah Patrols

Reported: 07:58 AM - Feb/23/07

(IsraelNN.com) A United Nations Interim Forces (UNIFIL) officer told the London Guardian that the Lebanese army has made a deal with Hizbullah, allowing its terrorist guerillas to patrol certain areas in southern Lebanon. The report also stated Hizbullah activity is increasing north of the Litani River, which is outside UNIFIL jurisdiction.

The newspaper also reported that UNIFIL has failed to keep Shi'ite Muslims from re-arming and that Hizbullah still dominates the south. A leading Hizbullah terrorist, Hajj Ali of the Bint Jbeil village, stated, "There will be another war in the summer. It is the beginning of the end for Israel; we are preparing."
