Al Hayat: Israel Willing to Agree to Prisoner Release to Free Shalit

(IsraelNN.com) Al Hayat, an Arabic newspaper published in London, reports that Israel has agreed to use Egypt as an intermediary to negotiate the release of the kidnapped soldier, Corp. Gilad Shalit, in exchange for Arab terrorists to be released from Israeli prisons.

According to the paper, Israel will release hundreds of prisoners, remove its forces from Gaza, and end the targeted killing of Arab terrorists to secure Shalit’s release. Arab terrorists in Gaza would promise to stop firing rockets onto Israeli communities in the Negev as part of the deal.
