Main ingredients

2 tablespoons snipped fresh chives or finely chopped scallion

4 ounces (115 grams) cream cheese

8 ounces (225 grams) shredded hard cheese (or use 4 ounces crumbled feta cheese)

2 tablespoons fresh minced parsley

1/4 cup sour cream

dash Tabasco sauce, optional

Make the Cheese Spread

Combine the cream cheese and sour cream. Stir in the rest. Chill thoroughly.
