I am a resident of Shiloh, with my wife and children, and now grandchildren, since 1981, having come on Aliyah in 1970. I have served in a volunteer capacity as a Yesha Council spokesperson, twice a member of Amana's secretariat, Benjamin Regional Council plenum member and mayor of Shiloh. I was a parliamentary aide for Geula Cohen and two other MKs, an advisor to a Minister, vice-chairman and executive director of Israel's Media Watch and was Information and Content Resource coordinator for the Begin Heritage Center. I am now Deputy Editor of the critical edition in anthology of Jabotinsky's writing in English.

I found this sentence in Vincent Fean's op-ed in prasie pf the two-state solution in The Guardian:

Indiscriminate Palestinian violence is morally wrong and futile, whether labelled terrorism or resistance

Fean was a former British consul general to Jerusalem (note: not "in" Jerusalem but "to", as if the city was not part of a state). Now he's with a working group which is another name for a think-tank.

I'll be brief:

Is the opposite of "indiscriminate", as above, "discriminate" or is the former diplomat not that bright or moral, actually.

Vincent Fean wants a British 'push' for 2-state solution.

Didn't work in 1922 when Transjordan was created to be the Arab State in Palestine.

Nor in 1937 when the first partition plan was proposed by the Peel Commission.

Neither did it work in 1947 when an Arab State west in the Jordan Rove in Palestine was proposed.

And it hasn't worked since.

Quite a diplomat is/was he.

But he's par for the course for The Guardian.
