I am a resident of Shiloh, with my wife and children, and now grandchildren, since 1981, having come on Aliyah in 1970. I have served in a volunteer capacity as a Yesha Council spokesperson, twice a member of Amana's secretariat, Benjamin Regional Council plenum member and mayor of Shiloh. I was a parliamentary aide for Geula Cohen and two other MKs, an advisor to a Minister, vice-chairman and executive director of Israel's Media Watch and was Information and Content Resource coordinator for the Begin Heritage Center. I am now Deputy Editor of the critical edition in anthology of Jabotinsky's writing in English.

I would strongly suggest our Prime Minister, government ministers and John Kerry, among other foreign diplomats, pay attention to what gets published in the Arab world:

Israeli colonists are planning to celebrate the Jewish Passover feast at Al Haram Al Sharif, the third holiest site in Islam, later this month.

The move is likely to exacerbate ongoing tensions at the holy site, where Palestinians accuse Israel of trying to change the status quo where Jews are allowed to visit the holy site but not perform religious rituals.

Why is it "likely to exacerbate"?

An "accusation" is not automatically a guilt.

At least 29 ultraorthodox groups have launched a major campaign calling on Jews across Israeli-occupied territories to join in the celebrations from April 22 to 28, that will surely evoke an emotional and angry response from Palestinians.

Why "surely evoke"?

Why on from "Israeli-occupied territories"?

Palestinians say the Israeli regime encourages such breaches of the status quo to change the facts on the ground and erase Muslim and Palestinian heritage and identity from occupied Jerusalem all together.

They "say", but is it true? Does not Netanyahu announce there is no change in the status-quo?

In preparation for the Passover festival, dozens of Israeli colonists raid Al Haram Al Sharif daily and pray there in direct violation to the 50-year-old status quo agreement...

"Colonists"?  "Raid"?  Is this not incitement?  As we know, they police detain and immediately remove any non-Muslim who attempts to pray.

...Al Haram Al Sharif is built on top of the ancient remnants of the Temple Mount, a site sacred in Judaism, but was destroyed in the 4th century by the Romans, during their rule.

Well, that's refreshing.  Our Temple indeed was there and there first.  But it was destroyed in 70 CE.

Al Haram Al Sharif site houses both the Al Aqsa Mosque which was originally commissioned to be built under Omar, the second Caliph in Islam in the 7th century,

And that is absolutely correct.  The Arabs conquered and occupied Eretz-Yisrael in 638 CE.

Who is actively combating all this?  Countering the lies?

Our Government?
