The Big Winner of last week's Election in Israel was not Bibi Netanyahu but the Jewish People.

Indeed, in Unity there is Strength. The "Right" really came together. Yes, votes were siphoned from Naftali Bennett and Avigdor Lieberman but Bibi had to win and be allowed to form the Coalition. This was a do or die moment in History. The alternative, of an Isaac Herzog Coalition, would have been disastrous. I remember all too well how the "Right" fractionated in 1992 and brought about the defeat of Yitzchak Shamir and the Cataclysmic Oslo Process.

This could easily have happened this time too but to Bibi's credit he made significant statements and overtures to the "Right" that rallied the troops. President Obama's blatant interference and outright endorsement of Isaac Herzog further motivated and energized the "Right". The biggest Loser by far was President Obama who has gone where no previous President has ever gone vis a vis Israel. His dictatorial stand against Prime Minister Netanyahu's Speech to Congress on March 3rd backfired.

Those who joined the President including: (partial Listing) Vice President Biden, Senators Elizabeth Warren, Al Franken, Bernie Sanders, Brian Schatz, and Congressmen Gregory Meeks, Jim McDermott, and Keith Ellison et al will forever be remembered as the small gang who took on the Prime Minister of Israel on the most important issue of the day.  They will have a hard time trying to explain why they did not show up. They all lost. The New York Times which has acted as a mouthpiece for the President, once again came out on the wrong side of History. Thomas Friedman who bitterly attacked Sheldon Adelson six days before the Israeli Election, like the Newspaper he writes for ,also remains on the wrong side of History.

His compatriot Roger Cohen did not fare any better. I would like, one day, to see a mea culpa but it does not look like it is going to happen any time soon. J Street who is primarily funded by George Soros was also one of the big Losers. After spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on Newspaper Ads attacking the Prime Minister of Israel, J Street will continue to be pushed further to the sidelines. Another one of George Soros' organizations, the New Israel Fund, which helped finance the Arab "Get Out to Vote" campaign by doling out "Cash for Votes" also lost. The New Israel Fund has been at it for years but only recently have they caught the eye of the world.

I have already written about how the New Israel Fund receives American Taxpayer money to help the MEPI (Middle East Peace Initiative) which helps the so called "Arab Spring" and defeat Netanyahu.  Netanyahu's miraculous re-election was a Victory for the World. Iran better watch out. As I have stated previously, this Election was a Referendum on Iran. Prime Minister Netanyahu now has a wide open and broad Mandate to do whatever it takes to make sure Iran never gets the Bomb. The World is a lot safer today than last week thanks to Bibi's incredible Victory. Thank G-d.
