I am a resident of Shiloh, with my wife and children, and now grandchildren, since 1981, having come on Aliyah in 1970. I have served in a volunteer capacity as a Yesha Council spokesperson, twice a member of Amana's secretariat, Benjamin Regional Council plenum member and mayor of Shiloh. I was a parliamentary aide for Geula Cohen and two other MKs, an advisor to a Minister, vice-chairman and executive director of Israel's Media Watch and currently, am Information and Content Resource coordinator for the Begin Heritage Center.

"Arab citizens have been taken hostage".

That was Sayed Kashua.

"The Palestinians: A kidnapped society".

That was Avrum Burg.

The Arabs have long been stealing Jewish identity.

They committed ethnic cleansing --- in Hebron, Shchem, Gaza, Jerusalem's Old City --- and claimed to have been ethnically cleansed.

They created refugees --- and claimed to be refugees with a 'right of return'.

And in both cases, after they launched a war of aggression which they planned to be one of eradication.

Now the Arabs and their supporters are thieving the language and the imagery of our distress.

Here is Jodi Ruderon in the NYTimes in a story of Sherri Mandell:

"If only these three boys had not hitchhiked in occupied Palestinian territory — if only Koby and his friend, Yosef Ishran, had not ditched school to go hiking in the canyon behind their West Bank homes."

Actually, the Gush Etzion Bloc was pre-1948 Israel so it cannot be "occupied Palestinian territory", well, maybe it could be "occupied illegally occupied Jordanian territory".  And a friend wrote me: "If only that rape victim hadn't decided to dress so provocatively...".

Always blame the Jews.
