Gaza comes to Stamford Hill

In a scene reminiscent of Kristallnacht, the Haredi teachers of a Yeshiva Ketana in London's Stamford Hill staged a particularly offensive Lag Ba'Omer celebration.
The burning in effigy of the State.of Israel.
With cheering and merriment, the teachers and parents of this school play out this hate-fest in front of impressionable kids as young as 8.
Not satisfied with one Magen David in flames, they raise a second one even higher which can be seen from the street by surrounding homes and passersby. Some may be Jewish survivors of the Holocaust. Others may be members of nearby mosques in this multi-cultural enclave of North London.
This is a calumny on many levels.
It's an incitement to racial hatred.
It's a breach of laws relating to school premises.
It's a breach of the charitable status by which this yeshiva supports itself.
Its imagery is deeply offensive to those who survived the Holocaust or who lost family members to the Nazis who first staged such events.
All British readers of this blog should protest this scandalous behavior.
Such people have no place teaching children.
Such 'schools' should be denied any public or charitable funding and be shut down.
