Tamar Yonah
Tamar Yonah hosts the most popular English speaking radio talk-show in Israel: 'The Tamar Yonah Show'. She informs people of the political changes taking place in the world and how it affects us. Tamar covers the news, as well as interviews respected authors, journalists, and politicians. You'll be exposed to the burning issues facing Israel and be able to call into the show. Tamar is the daughter of a Holocaust survivor. Her father survived the Nazi brutalities and after liberation, made his way to the shores of the British Palestine Mandate, where again fighting for his survival, fought in Israel's war of Independence. This made a great impression on her life and she too has been fighting for Israel by serving in the Israeli army & air force, and afterwards by becoming an activist for Israel and the Jewish nation. Email Tamar at: Tamar@IsraelNationalRadio.com and add her on Facebook at: 'Tamar Yonah'...
This blog is now in a  deep coma.
Folks, as I wrote in the previous blog's talk back, I've been very busy, and stressed.  The silly comments (some needlessly viscous) proved to me that no matter how much good an organization does, if they do one thing someone doesn't think is right, they throw the baby out with the bath water.  How people can talk this way about a WHOLE station (where many work for free or low paying salaries because they believe in what they do and want to be part of the greater good) astounds me.
It's not easy or popular to speak the truth and expose evil.  Quite frankly, after reading some of the crazy panic-y and nasty comments posted, I just felt like giving up  -what's the point of all the hard work and sticking one's neck out, when people can turn on a dime for some action they disagree with or an imagined wrong doing?  So I lifted up my hands in grave disappointment and frustration.

I am going to take some leave and cool down.  -Or rather warm up.  I think this is a good time to take a break.  I'm going to go and search out some sand and sea.  In the meantime, enjoy the limericks I wrote to release some steam and stress.

The comments here have been nutty.
Yes, insulting and fuddy-duddy.
So go visit Batya,
or Fishman who's got yah,
And don't read me, who is cruddy.

Tamar really needed a break.
Don't worry, the world's not at stake.
She'll be back in a while
As the news stories pile
But how much more could she take?

This blogger got really tired.
She wanted to quit or be fired.
All she needed was time
to relax   -it's no crime
or find another job and get hired.

Tamar got the 7 year itch
when people called her a witch
She decided to rest
It's all for the best
or she'll turn into a real mean b----

What's gotten into Tamar?
Have her limits gone too far?
Writing nonsense like crazy
Has she just gotten lazy?
or is she really just gone ajar?

Why is Tamar talking in third person?
Maybe her brain went a burstin'
But one thing's for sure
Being silly's a cure
And it sure is better than cursin'

Tamar's going off to the sun
for relaxation, rest and fun
Her readers should know,
she's reached her plateau
so for now this blog is done.

If a message, you want to leave here
Don't bore us with anger or tears
Tamar shall wind down,
Maybe go paint the town!
So have fun. Leave limericks. Clear?
