A Prayer for the Prime Minister of Israel Mr. Netanyahu

"Shema Yisrael Hashem Elokeinu Hashem Echad."

HaShem
Thy People Israel, is so much in need, a frail human being leads them,
Look with compassion on him,
Strengthen and help and encourage him.
In this time of grave and frightening danger,
Of senseless villification, hate and anger,
If Thou will not balance the scales
How can a mere man prevail?
Against the mounting pressure of raging nations?
Ranting, raving, lying nations?
 
Has there ever been a time like this?
A malignant, festering fiction such as this?
When all nations united in hate
Have manufactured a "people" and demand for them a state?
Have for generations clothed them and fed them
Have educated them and bred them
Holding them in captivity
Refugees in perpetuity!

Having exhausted every other means
Pogroms, Holocaust and ingenuous schemes
And still failing to make a full end of Thy People
Now present this manufactured "people"
As the people of the Land
Thy Holy Land!
United in hate, they demand that Thy People be expelled
Thy Land re-named, Thy People compelled
To build on Thy Land and Thy Holy City, a terror state,
To perpetuate their irrational hate.
 
Bless Mr. Netanyahu, the Prime Minister
Do not let the seething  nations sinister 
Plans, un-nerve and intimidate him
Turn Thy Eyes of compassion on him
Give him wise councellors,
Honest and faithful councellors,
Give him wisdom, strengthen  and succour him.
Do not let a lying hate filled complicit world over - power him.
                                             
                                                              Amen.
Why should the nations rage ?
As they have done in every age?
Stand by Thy People Lord,
