Victims develop a tolerance for bizzare behavior and here we go again!
According to an article last week in the Hebrew language weekly newspaper Besheva written by Chagit Rotenberg, farmers in the Negev and Gallilee are being regularly beaten, terrorized and harassed by local Bedoins attempting to drive them off their land. According to Besheva, some have already been driven off, their land stolen.
Police do nothing,,,who is paying them off to not take action against the perpertrators? Example, a farmer was driving his truck and was being followed by Bedoins who when he stopped they beat him badly and stole his truck filled with equipment. The farmer complained to the police, the attackers were arrested and then released without being charged. Again, who is paying off whom?
The Besheva newspaper reports that Yoel Zilberman, a former officer in an elite IDF unit, requested to be released from duty to protect his father who owns a ranch and was beaten by Bedoin. Yoel started guarding his father's ranch and learned that other farmers were experiencing the same attacks and harassment.

Yoel Zilberman's protection posse
Yoel formed a mounted posse to assist protecting other farms from his father's fate. My question is, why do the farmers need protection and why aren't they protecting themselves?
I have been told stories of those who did protect themselves from Arabs and ended up in jail. I also just learned that if the police pay attention to the Dromi bill that was passed within the last year or so, the victims are entitled to protect themselves and their property without fear of being jailed and prosecuted,,,about time. Now, someone needs to tell the corrupt police about this law. If the police can't handle this and forgoe the extra income, let the army do the job.
Bedoin are also extorting protection cash from farmers so that they won't be attacked on their land. Is the Israeli population so blind, selfish and complacent as to not care what is happening in heavy agricultural areas or, do you want to be held hostage with the Arabs controlling farmland and the supply and prices of vegetables and meat?
These farmers are still connected to the land, our Jewish historical land and need everyone's support.
It's appalling that the "regular media" hasn't addressed this, So I suspect most Israelis don't know what is going on and worse, probably don't care.
It will be interesting to see what the reactions will be when an Arab knocks on your door and tells you the property is now his- get out, your government has given it to me,,,Tel Aviv look out!
Think about it!
