Obama, We Can't Hear Youby Baruch GordonBelow is a picture of my neighbor Menachem's house in the Israeli town of ****, located in Samaria. As you can see, next to his house, a tractor is working to build a new home.
When US President Barack Hussein Obama spoke from Cairo on Thursday to announce that Israelis must stop building in the Jewish towns of Judea and Samaria, Menachem tuned in to his radio to listen to the historic speech, but the noise from the construction next door was so loud, that he couldn't hear the radio. So, in the meantime, the construction continues in the settlements, Mr. Obama, because the noise of construction is so great, we can't hear you. This reminds me of the old joke about a man who walked down the street with a banana in his ear. A lady approached him saying, "Hey, you've got a banana in your ear." He answered, "Huh?"
The lady raised her voice, "You've got a banana in your ear!" Still the man couldn't hear her. When the lady began screaming, the man said, "I'm sorry lady. I can't hear you. I've got a banana in my ear." |
