Yishai and Malkah Fleisher are Zionists, activists and turned-on Jews. They met at Cardozo Law School in Manhattan as students, got engaged, and flew to Israel to get married in Hebron.

Malkah is originally from Sherman, Texas and is a graduate of George Washington University with a degree in Political Communication. She hosts a variety of shows at Arutz Sheva's Israel National Radio, including the Eishet Chayil Show

Yishai is an internationally recognized lecturer, show host, and columnist and has been featured on CNN, Al Jazeera, the BBC, and other international and Jewish media. Yishai was an IDF paratrooper and studied Poli-Sci at Yeshiva University. Yishai co-founded Kumah, a grassroots organization dedicated to encouraging American Aliyah. His writing and Zionist efforts landed him a job at Arutz Sheva's Israel National Radio. Today he hosts the "Yishai and Friends" show and is the Director of Programming of the station.

      Losing My Religion?

Here is an email I recieved from London recently:

      Subject: War and Prayer

Content: Shalom Yishai, Malka and little Leah bat Tzion too! I listened to your podcast last week about the Hamas asking their people to pray for them and you discussed the meaning of the name Ishmael being "G-d will hear". Do you ever (almost) lose faith, just for a moment? I did when I heard that G-d might hear Bnei Yishmael's cry but I snapped out of it because we have a promise. So I wanted to know more and found this site where the Lubavitcher Rebbe explains that "G-d will listen to the cry of the [Jewish] nation for what the children of Ishmael will do in the future, at the end of days… as it says (Psalms 55:20) 'G-d will listen and answer' Midrash Pirkei d'Rabbi Eliezer ch. 32. Yalkut Mechiri Psalms 177.

Altogether this is a fascinating website. Thank you sincerely for your shows, the Torah section at the end of the week and your no-nonsense approach to the J-man! That's your duty as Ohr l'goyim whether some like it or not and slowly I think many are moving away from their idolatry and closer to Torah with your help and insight. Kol hakovod! Please be safe if you've been called up; our prayers are with you and all families at this time. Lena
