The suspected killer at the Pittsburgh synagogue massacre justified himself.

He said clearly: Jews were “committing genocide”. That set him off  - this appears in the police affidavit.

So false “genocide” accusations can cost innocent lives.

False “genocide” accusations  can take a terrible death toll - by justifying murder.

Thus it becomes essential to insist, again, that Black Lives Matter -- 2 long years after having been urged to do so -- finally remove, from the BLM “invest-divest” policy platform, the irresponsible allegations about  “genocide which is taking place against the Palestinian people”.

Jewish groups should certainly be making this immediate demand. Jewish groups which promote Black Lives Matter include:

 *     some of the Jewish Federations (e.g. Portland, Oregon – in case you know anyone there),

 *    Tru’ah, a pro-Palestinian  NGO,

 *     JFREJ,

 *      Atlanta’s LGBTQ-and-allied  “Bet Haverim” community

 *     Rabbis and supporters affilliated with these groups.

We all share the grief, over the slain Jewish elders of Pittsburgh. So

we should all share a new, firm resolve:

After Pittsburgh, no more blood libels about Jews “committing genocide”.

After Pittsburgh, no more  acquiescence, of Jews and any civilized folks, with such blood libels.

Everybody loudly demands from Black Lives Matter: We insist – stop your blood libel – NOW.
